Last jobs in year 2012

A food department's freezers can be found Provena's glutenfree products nowadays. I've bought some rolls but I can say they are not in my taste. Yesterday I found this ready-to-make-yourself-flour -package by Provena. I'm not any fan of these add only eggs stuff but worth to try, eh? A glutenfree breads, cakes and cookies need some extra job to make so why don't try to go under a fence when there are an opportunity XD  I'm those who value highly home made bread more than plastic coated bread.

Anyway, just add 1,5dl water and 3 eggs, mixed and pour into a baking dish. I got 18 marvelous chocolate muffin :) Easy and quick to bake when unexpected guests arrive. I think I am going to buy couple packages in my larder just in case.

My cardigan knitting is almost ready to send to my good friend. Still need to needle collar so it is stronger with double layers and put one button on a top part of the collar.

I bought today a blue shovel at a kid's department. It is really cute - as you can image. It has snowed a huge drift in our balcony lately so there are needed for the shovel (a bigger one perhaps, hih). It might has to be hurry with that job - throw the snow over the railing - because there are heavy raining today. If  I'm waiting still this evening it might be a snowless balcony tomorrow, hih.

Last winter my b/f liked to do that job so that's why I bought a blue shovel and not a pinky one. The pink one is not suits in his hand as you can image. Last year he used an aluminum shovel Entrenching_tool which is really smaller than new kid's shovel, omg.

Time to knit and relax


I have been found myself more often sitting on a sofa sticks in my hands. At first a pattern felt very difficult and I needed to frog out many rows. After some good rows I have been knitting this marvelous patterns enthusiastically. It is going to be a long scarf which I hope to have it for sale like many other my knitting projects http://www.etsy.com/shop/KnittingHDrider. Today its length is 1,05 meter (41,33 inch). I think that it needs another meter more. I still have couple days off so it might be ready before going back work.

I got a KakaoTalk message from Seoul. My dear daughter seems to have a great time with her fellow students. She is enjoying of her holiday trip. A temperature there is more colder than what we have here in North. Funny thing.





The sun was shining today. That is what I'm missing during the long and cold winter. Our town is not so up in the north that we are losing the light for months but still the sun could be behind clouds too many days. I am always so happy to see it :)  It gives hope to get rid of snow what has been snowing lately. I'm more a spring / summer person than a winter person.

Anyway pretty soon after sunset the moon came into sight. Today it was so damn big but still it is hard to caught into a pic by a cellphone.

I found this Castellblanch Cava today. It suits well with a chicken meal :-). It is a very dry rose sparkling wine. Gives nice party feeling to a quite average dinner.

Last weekend we got a huge amount of snow. It looks nice and gives nicely light into dark evenings, but....I myself particularly don't care much of it as a citizen. It brings so many problems for daily business. I don't like it as a professional driver.

After my fiancé has dug a tractor unit out of snow (he is so nice <3) I got off my way to a place where I left a semi-trailer. I found that it could take awhile before I will be on a road. Snowplows have given not so nice gift for me ;(     I couldn't done anything else than searched my shovel which isn't any snow scoop. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entrenching_tool)
Also a neighbor driver has thrown some snow on my side as well. It took one hour for me to dug two straight lanes (sorry for a bad pic). Anyway, I got the tractor unit under the semi-trailer and then.... a problems with a fifth wheel coupling.

Luckily I finally got to go and didn't stuck in a snow which is very normal in these wintry days.

 Although roads were and still are really icy I can still enjoy of these fabulous sceneries. I'm driving this 10 miles route daily (next 5 pics). A road runs through very thick spruce forest. I think it is more nicer in a winter time than a summer time. Only bad thing is road maintenance work. Communes are saving as much money as they can in every direction and one target is roads. Crazy but so true as you can see. High ways are kept in the better condition by salted them all the time but these 'normal' roads look like this kind. They are truly slippery and very hard for any kind bigger cars than passenger cars. Tires are bigger and a width of a truck are needing wider driveway. It is understandable that a driver can't do much else than hold a steering wheel firmly with both hands and keep eyes on a road. My bad habit is taking pics when ever I see nice scenery....I do have a holder for my cellphone and I'm really just pushing a button without even look at the cellphone! There are more fail pics than successful.

One thing is what I'm waiting to see on this route is some wild animal. A bear would be the most exciting animal but truly - do I want to meet it in a middle of the night alone :=)  It is better just hope all wild animals stay in a forest because I really don't want to make any panic brake on this road.

One winter day on a sofa

This looks like very nice to knit. I need badly new job for my hands, hih. Unfortunately I didn't find any fluffy yarn at home so I decided to try with acrylic yarn. An instruction looked very easy but after couple minutes I found out it can't work out. Luckily I found what was wrong and I could knitted couple rows. In this model it looks like there are many flowers but my  version didn't look at all like that so I needed to drop out this model. However I found new model quite quickly and now I'm struggling with it, hih.

While I'm not knitting I can keep on eye little birds which like to search even something to eat at our balcony. These holes tells how many time they have been sitting on a handrail. The great tits are almost only little birds in a city area which can be seen during the coldest season. They are flying in silent. Is that because they have to save all energy to keep themselves warm?....just thinking.

Historic moment - let's start to keep a blog

Yesterday one person asked me if I know how to use a computer. That was a pretty amazing question when thinking that I opened my very first computer in 1975. And that was really the computer if I may say so. I don't have any evidences of my skills (which are the mostly needed today). There are so many different kind programs today (and which I have gone through as well) that one just can't know everything today. If only know basic idea how all work out it gives fab tools for you to understand a new program's soul. Anyway, that question gave much to think about.

Anyway, I got this to work -wow - I can be proud of myself. Let's see if I can keep my blog in action and share - what so ever. At least some pics because I love to take them.

What comes to motorcycling it can wait awhile today. Too much snow on a ground, lol
